Object Drift is the setup-and-configuration layer of Lucidity’s object storage support in Lumen. It finds wasteful settings, over-provisioned redundancy, and design sprawl, and recommends fixes you can act on from day one.
Object Drift targets waste in how storage is configured (misconfigurations, redundancy, design sprawl), which is visible immediately and does not need access data. Object Tiering optimizes which storage class your data sits on based on how it is actually accessed over time. Most teams run both.
Day 0 setup waste (SFTP enabled but unused, geo-redundancy waste, unused RAGRS secondary endpoints, unused premium blobs), over-provisioned redundancy (ZRS, GZRS, GRS), and mixed-use storage accounts that create design sprawl.
